Account Manager -- Job Description

This role is 1 part salesman, 1 part consultant, and 1 part best friend. The job involves providing demos of the software to potential prospects, following up, and closing deals. Your first duty will be to become an expert on PestRoutes so that you can understand first-hand all of the amazing ways that PestRoutes can save time, increase profits, and retain customers. You will then be responsible for sharing that knowledge with our clients, helping them become valued users, and then maintaining positive relationships. Daily activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Showing demos of our software and eliciting ooh's and aah's
  • Following up with prospective clients and quelling their army of questions
  • Closing deals
  • Coordinating data imports and training between our on-boarding department and the client
  • Maintaining a relationship with the customer and being their best PestRoutes friend
  • Occasional travel to exotic New Mexico and scenic Oklahoma as well as other locations like Florida, California, and New York to do on-site trainings
  • Working trade shows and conferences at the PestRoutes booth.
  • Having fun and being a leader while we build this software company and see it grow!
